The table

Here's the table in the making. If we knew what we know to day, things might have been... no! Would definitely have been done a little different! But hey, you learn by the process. The guy on the pics are my good friend Sune, whose Middenheimers I often kicks out of Mordheim...

The idea with the board, was to make a interchangeable table, to get a variety in the games. To do so even more, we decided not to build in stationary buildings, though stationary buildings gives an opportunity to make the board look more realistic and detailed.

We had to fill the extra gab with some, polystyrene. We could have just removed the extra on the side of the blocks, but wouldn't have ended up with a 120 x 120 cm table, but more like 115 x 115.

On top of the yellow foam, we cut out and glued the white foamboard called "hips", to make the pavement. To measure, I've placed som of my first buildings.

Next: cutting out and glue on foam to the canals.

The board roughly assembled. Next up: making a lot of time consuming cobblestone. Unfortunately I have no more WIP pics for you since I have changed my phone AND computer meanwhile.

But here's a overview picture of the ALMOST done table. Still need to fill in the multi layer resin in the canal and integrate more rubble and lost/left/dropped weapons, skulls, bottles, books etc.
